Mandalas are circular Indian motifs, of spiritual inspiration, and famous for the calming they bring with their concentric composition. Generally made with the computer in a perfectly geometrical way, I wanted for my part to realize these mandalas in hand, without preliminary sketch, to preserve the instinctive and natural side of the manual layout. They are made with pen or felts, sometimes on a background of paint or computer-modified at the color level. They are almost always inspired by nature, in which we often find the round shape and fractals. They symbolize the return to wild life, or even geometric patterns in nature, both perfect and imperfect.
